Hi, my name is Ab and I use they/them pronouns. I am currently a visiting assistant professor at Smith College teaching in the Computer Science and Statistical and Data Sciences programs.

I earned my PhD in Computer Science from Tufts University in 2021. My dissertation research focused on how we can use visualizations to effectively and efficiently communicate data to broad audiences. I am also invested in broadening participation in computer and data science, and have spent the last few years working to make my classroom (and the institutions I work at) more inclusive and equitable.
